Kevin McQueeney is an Assistant Professor of History and the Coordinator of the Black Studies Certificate Program at Nicholls State University. His research focuses primarily on African American health and health care history. He is the author of the forthcoming book A City Without Care: 300 Years of Racism, Health Disparities, & Healthcare Activism in New Orleans (University of North Carolina Press, Spring 2023).
