Jessica Parr is a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales and is fascinated by how we understand well-being and develop healthcare practices. This is reflected in her research interests that include chronic disease, pharmaceuticals, and psychiatry in the twentieth century. Her thesis explores obesity, mutual aid and public health policy in the post-war United States.
