Editor (On Sabbatical)

Ren Capucao is a registered nurse at VCU Health and a PhD student in nursing, digital humanities, and American studies at the University of Virginia—where he is affiliated with the Bjoring Center for Nursing Historical Inquiry. His research addresses issues amidst the nursing profession, politics of care, and Asian America. He currently is exploring his professional and cultural identities through his dissertation work that examines the history, racialization, and diaspora of Filipino nurses across the Greater United States and beyond.
