Adriann Bechtle is a Clark Honors College student earning a Bachelor’s of Architecture at the University of Oregon and currently working as the Architecture Department Head’s assistant. She was raised by a single mother in Minnesota and moved to Oregon late 2015. She is writing her thesis on accessible lighting design, which balances the needs of people with impaired vision and those with photophobia. When she graduates in June 2021, she hopes to work for a firm that focuses on sustainable or accessible design.
