Zoie Horecny is a doctoral candidate in History at the University of South Carolina. Her research addresses slavery in South Carolina during the Early Republic in an Atlantic context. She earned her MA in Public History from the University of South Carolina, and she works as a graduate assistant for a documentary editing project.
