Amy Allen Sekhar holds a PhD in French literature and is a rogue scholar and disability activist whose primary research focuses on Otherness in French literature, cinema, and culture. She is currently engaged in interdisciplinary research in portrayals of identity and the disabled body, issues relating to disability in academia.
